The most advanced machine in the lineup. With eight platinum-coated titanium plates — the most in any standard model — the K8 delivers the strongest negative ORP Enagic offers, controlled through a modern touchscreen. A simple countertop unit you can set up yourself: place it by the sink, connect to the faucet, done.

Choose the K8 if: you want the top of the range — maximum electrolysis strength and the most refined interface.

The direct successor to the legendary SD501 — Enagic's best-selling machine for over a decade — now with an updated body and improved features. Seven plates, all five water types, and the same simple DIY countertop setup. For most households, this is the natural starting point.

Choose the SD501DX if: you want the most proven platform in the lineup at a lower price than the flagship.

The same 7-plate performance as the SD501DX, engineered to disappear: the machine installs below the sink, with only a sleek control panel mounted above. The trade-off is installation — it requires drilling, mounting, and dedicated plumbing work, so we recommend hiring a licensed plumber (arranged by the customer).

Choose the SD501U if: you want a clean, clutter-free counter and don't mind a professional installation. Renters should generally choose a countertop model instead.

Built for volume. Twin electrolysis chambers keep output steady through heavy, continuous daily use — big families, or settings like cafés and studios that serve many people. Note that while it sits on the counter, it's a larger, heavier unit with a more advanced setup than the standard models, so we recommend professional installation by a licensed plumber (arranged by the customer).

Choose the Super501 if: you have 6+ people to serve, or light commercial needs.

The most affordable way into the lineup — and the lightest and simplest to set up. Four plates produce the same five water types as the bigger machines, with lighter electrolysis strength suited to singles, couples, and lighter daily use. Many customers start here and upgrade later.

Choose the JRIV if: you're a household of one or two, or you want the lowest entry price.

However they differ in capacity and strength, all five machines share the same foundation:

• The same five water types across the same pH range (2.5–11.5) — from strong acidic to strong alkaline, including clean filtered drinking water.
• Platinum-coated titanium electrode plates — the core of every Enagic machine.
• Made in Japan by Enagic, with an official manufacturer warranty on every unit sold through an authorized independent distributor.
• Built-in filtration with replaceable filters, so upkeep is straightforward.

Enagic has discontinued the Leveluk SD501 and SD501 Platinum and replaced them with the [Leveluk SD501DX](/kangen-water-machines/leveluk-sd501dx/) — the same proven 7-plate core in an updated body with 8-language voice guidance.
